Axarel 3000 precision cleaner is an approved MIL-PRF-680 Type III solvent designed as a replacement for various low flash point, flammable solvents like isopropyl alcohol (IPA), acetone, and toluene. It features a low vapor pressure, significantly reducing VOC emissions, and is ideal for manual cleaning. With a high flash point, it can also be used as an immersion cleaner at elevated temperatures. Axarel 3000 effectively removes mineral oils, lubricants, coolants, synthetics, waxes, and particulate matter, and is compatible with many polymeric substrates, elastomers, ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
Key features of Axarel 3000 include its high flash point, powerful solvency, low toxicity, non-hazardous nature, and low surface residue. It is FAA-NR approved and meets several ASTM standards. The cleaner is available in a 5-gallon pail, is clear with a mild odor, and consists primarily of hydrotreated light petroleum distillates. It has a specific gravity of 0.83, a boiling point between 221 to 295°C, a flash point of 96°C, viscosity of 2.2 cPs, and an evaporation rate of less than 0.1.
