The LOCTITE® 55 Pipe Cord™ is a general-purpose, threaded pipe and the installation of the sealant wrapped from the dispensing package into the threads of the pipe. Supplied in containers; serving both storage and distribution purposes. Thread and Fittings up to 4” NPT (National Pipe thread) are recommended for sealing metal and plastic tapered pipes and fluids for use in aqueous and non-aqueous industrial applications. Particularly suitable in threaded assembly applications requiring emergency use and minor adjustments prior to use. This product is generally used in applications up to 149 °C
