Araldite 420 is a highly versatile adhesive with very high shear and peel strength, exceptional toughness and resilience, and good moisture resistance. It bonds a wide range of materials, including metal, wood, rubber, glass fiber reinforced composites, and many plastics. It is suitable for various metal, honeycomb, and fiber reinforced composite bonding applications, maintaining high shear strength at temperatures up to 70°C and good peel strength. Applications include bonding inserts, ferrules, aluminum and composite edge members, joining strips, and fabricating composite components using the cut and fold technique.
