PPG 515 K011 BAC452 is a conventional solids, lead and cadmium free epoxy coating used as a fluid resistant interior primer. This high-performance primer is specifically formulated to protect aircraft interior surfaces from corrosion. It is easy to spray and compatible with epoxy and urethane interior topcoats. The primer exhibits excellent adhesion to all aluminum and composite surfaces, resistance to Skydrol, and compatibility with all current non-electrostatic spray equipment. It can be applied across a wide temperature range (-54°C to 177°C / -65°F to 350°F).
PPG 515 K011 BAC452 also meets specifications such as BMS10-11 Type 1 Class A Grade A, and conforms to standards like BAMS 565-002, BMS 10-11 Type II, BMS 10-60 Type I, DMS 2143, DPM 5391, among others.
