TECTYL 275 is an anti-corrosion compound, lubricant and penetrator that displaces water and prevents solvent reduction. The film is an ultra-light, transparent oil with fingerprint printing and removal capabilities. TECTYL 275 is certified under Military Specification MIL-C-15074E, QPL Reference Number AR-20-85. TECTYL 275 provides protection for industrial parts and transport components.

Surface preparation

The maximum performance of TECTYL 275 can only be achieved when the metal surfaces to be protected are clean, dry and free from rust, oil and mill scale. Daubert Chemical Company recommends metal surface temperature 50-95 ° F (10-35 ° C) during product application.

Application

TECTYL 275 is formulated for use as supplied. Ensure consistent consistency before use. Continuous mixing is generally not required. If the product thickens due to solvent loss during cold storage or use, contact Daubert Chemical Company. DO NOT THIN THE TECTYL 275. Incorrect thinning will affect the film structure, drying time and product performance. Daubert Chemical Company recommends that the ambient and product temperature at the time of application be 50-95 ° F (10-35 ° C). TECTYL 275 can be applied by spraying or dipping.

Lifting

TECTYL 275 can be cleaned with TECTYL HPS solvent-based thinner, steam degreasing, hot alkaline washing or low pressure steam. TECTYL 275 can be removed from fabrics by normal dry cleaning procedures. Avoid using chlorinated or highly aromatic solvents when removing from painted surfaces, as these solvents can adversely affect the paint.
