Medeco recommends the use of FLUID FILM ® to lubricate all Medeco cylinders. FLUID FILM is a fast-acting, invasive and long-lasting lubricant that provides up to 10 times longer lubrication than other lubricants when applied to high-use locking devices.
How to Lubricate:
Before lubrication, dirty or oily locks should be cleaned with a quality electrical contact cleaner, and excessively dirty or oily locks should be removed completely. Therefore, it is recommended that only Medeco Factory Approved Locksmiths disassemble Medeco cylinders.
