Sandstrom HI-T 650 Solid Film Lubricant is a lacquer-like coating containing anti-corrosion pigments with molybdenum disulfide and a silicone vehicle. It is a special product designed to prevent loosening and provide long wear life at high temperatures (5000F to 7500 F) exceeding the operating range of Sandstrom 9A and 27A.
The higher pigment load protects all metals from erosion, wear and seizure. This solid film lubricant exhibits extremely low friction and anti-galling properties at loads in excess of 100,000 psi. It can be applied by spraying or dipping.
